Waterboard Park Ivy Pull

On May 21, 2022, volunteers will meet 9:00 AM - 12 noon to clear ivy off trees in Waterboard Park's protected tree canopy under the direction of the Oregon City Parks Foundation (OCPF) and the Oregon City Parks Department. Waterboard Park, with its unique geology, is Oregon City's natural park located at the South end of the Historic McLoughlin Neighborhood and just below the Rivercrest and Elyville Neighborhoods. Decades of ivy have taken over the park killing trees and covering the Parks landscape.  For several years volunteer groups have been chipping away and at last count, over five-hundred trees have been freed of Ivy. You are welcome to bring your own tools or OCPF will have some tools available as well as refreshments and snacks. When you arrive at the parking lot we'll have a table set up for you to register and grab some coffee.

We know everyone is busy, so come and help save one tree if you can't stay.

We hope you will join us.
